Would someone please tell me why my tea always ends up cold before I drink it? I get so engrossed in talking or writing, I forget it. Yesterday I must have made 6 or 7 cups before I got a hot one. That only happened because, instead of bringing it back to the computer, I went and drank it looking out on to the garden. I really love my garden. I am still mulling over whether or not I can bear to leave it.  As you can see my thoughts are wandering. Let’s look at books instead.  I pulled a few more out for you, and we can go thought them. Well, I have had another lovely pottering in the garden. I think my young helper is going to end up as a horticulturist. He really is full of ideas and innovations for the garden. We are going to be building a stand on which numerous areas for birds will be positioned. He insists it’s good for the garden to have lots of birds, and I guess he is right. They sure are pretty to watch. So later today I am off to buy the necessary timbers and hangers.  He had it all mapped out for me with sizes and all. Afternoon to you all, I am a little late today. I have had a fit of gardening because the weather was so beautiful this morning. The thing that started me off was the little field mouse, who has decided I am his pantry. He came looking this morning because yesterday, the bout of rain we had, washed away the bird seed I had put out. He (I presume it is a he) decided as today was a nice day, he needed to tell me to put more out as he was hungry.
